Bread of Life Clothing Ministry located at 630 Coolidge road will be open Tuesday from 10-1pm. Everything is free. Please do not bring children under 12 due to safety concerns.

American Legion Post 117 will meet Tuesday evening at 5pm at the VFW Hall. For more information call 615-633-7369.

The Food Pantry at Lafayette Methodist Church located at 506 Bratton Ave will be open Thursday from noon until 2pm.

During the month of May, Macon Community Hospital is offering Free Vitamin D Screenings. No appointment required, just drop by Monday thru Friday between 7-5pm. Call 615-666-2147 for more information.

Soulfire Ministries Discount General Store at 116 Main Street is a non-profit faith based store where everyone is welcome. Hours are Mon-Sat. 10am – 7pm.

Sign Ups are open for Macon County Public Library System’s 2026 Summer Reading Program. Sign up at either location during May.

The Macon County Planning Commission will meet, Tuesday at 6pm at the Welcome Center.

The Macon County Legislative Body will meet in regular session, Monday night at 6:30pm.
