Sozo Ministries 3rd Annual Toy Drive is underway and going through Dec. 15th. Toys can be dropped off at Soul Fire Ministries at 116 Main Street and check out their Facebook page to see what local restaurants are giving specials for donating toys. You may also call 615-359-6213 for more information.

Calvary Baptist Church will once again be participating in its Christmas backpack program. The church will be giving away backpacks for children ages 2-17 who are in need of one of the backpacks, which contain a variety of essential supplies. The backpacks will be given away the morning of Dec. 13th. Interested individuals must register Dec. 6th by calling Craig Harris at 615-633-8090.

Lafayette Masonic Lodge #543 will have their regular Business Meeting, Thursday night at 7pm.

The City of Lafayette Christmas on the Square will be Friday night from 5-8pm. Come out and enjoy food trucks, carriage rides and more.

The 30th Annual Jr. Pro Basketball Sign Up will be Wednesday night from 5:30-9pm at Central Elementary. The player entrance fee is $60 and games start in January. For more information call 615-666-7230.

The Lafayette Christmas Parade “Cowboy Christmas” will be Saturday at 1pm. If you can’t make it to the parade, tune in here to Country 102.1fm for Live coverage.

Bro Justin Tucker will preach at Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have a baptizing Sunday immediately after the morning worship service.

Elder David Swindle will preach at Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am and Elder Tim Lowhorn will preach Sunday night at 6pm.
