The Macon County Public Library is pleased to have Animal Control Officers, Tom Dallas and Corey Lawrence every Wednesday in July at 2pm to discuss animal safety and awareness. Each session will cover a different topic, and will be open for questions and comment.

 

The Lafayette Church of Christ is having their summer series “Living a G-rated life in an X-rated World”- for the next several Wednesday nights. Each week they’ll have a different speaker and different topic. Wednesday you can hear Jeremiah Tatum speaking on Bullying.

 

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church has bible study every Wednesday night at 6:30pm.

 

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency will hold commodities distribution for Macon County Thursday from 9am until 11am at the UCHRA office. Everyone must present a valid UCHRA commodity card in order to receive commodities.
