There will be a Gospel concert featuring Gospel Pianist, Frank Jones, Sunday at 5:00 pm. at First Baptist Church , located at 400 Church Street.  Mr. Frank  Jones will also be leading morning services at 11:00 am.

 

There will be a benefit singing for Sister Dimple Woodard Walker at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday at 7 pm.  Guest singers will be The Servants and the Smith Family.

 

Fall Fun Fest will be Saturday, from 11:00 to 5:00 pm at the Sally Wells Building at the Macon County Fairgrounds. A shopping boutique and direct sales vendors plus family, food and fun will be available.   For more information all Lisa Blair 615-655-5281.

 

The Fall Festival at Macon Christian Academy located, behind the old American Greetings building,  will be Saturday  from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.   Fun for the whole family including a cakewalk, silent auction, games, bounce houses and concessions.

 

Vision 2020’s Red Pump Café will be presented Saturday at Armour’s Hotel in Red Boiling Springs.  Supper served beginning at 6:00.  Cost is $10.00 per plate.  The show begins at 7:00 pm.  Call 615-699-2180 for menu and to make reservations.

 

 

A Diabetes Support Group meeting will be tonight at 6pm at the Macon County General Hospital Conference Room. Guest speaker will be Christy Jones. Call 615-666-2147 ext 338 for more information.

 

The Haunted Barn at 550 Green Grove Rd will be open Friday thru Oct. 29th, nightly from 7-10pm. Cost is $5 per person, all proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Active military is free with ID.

 

Come out to Midgett’s Restaurant on 52 Bypass East, October 5th at 5pm for an All You Can Eat Fried Fish Feast! Plates are $10, Children 11 & under $6. All proceeds go to Sherry’s Run.

 

The Step Back in Time Shop will have Painting with Crystal Cherry, Friday from 6-9pm. Fee for the class is $30.

 

There will be a Spaghetti Supper, Silent Auction & Bake Sale, Friday from 4:30-7pm at Lafayette United Methodist Church at 506 Bratton Ave. Adults $8, Children 12 & under $6.

 

Financial Aid Night – “Paying for College” will be Tuesday at 6pm in the MCHS Auditorium.

 

Local photographers are invited to enter their work in the 8th Annual Art in Real Life. The event will be October 6th-12th at Citizens Bank on the Bypass. Entry forms are available by calling Pat Bailey at 615-666-3995, forms must be returned no later than September 28th.

 

Tennessee Ag Enhancement applications are now available at the Macon County Extension Office. The application period begins October 1st.

 

Bulldog Dash a 5K Run/Walk will be October 1st at 9am. Entry forms may be picked up at RBS High School or at http://redboilingspringsschool.com .

 

The MCHS 37th Annual Gifts and Craft Fair on October 29th from 8-6pm. Booths are $35 each on a first come first serve basis. For more information call 615-666-4320.

 

The Red Boiling Springs Farmer’s Market at 520 Lafayette Road in Red Boiling Springs is open every Saturday from 8-1pm.There is no charge to be a vendor, for more information call 678-787-0935 or 615-633-2340.
