Activities at the Macon County Senior Citizens Center for Tuesday are SilverSneakers MSROM at 10am and Line Dancing at 1pm.

 

Little Miss Macon County, Petite Miss Macon County and Jr. Miss Macon County will be held Saturday February 7th at Macon County High School. Entry form and fees are due by Monday at MCHS PO Box 338 Lafayette, TN attention Krystal Sallee FCCLA advisor or call 615-666-8963.

 

The Committee of a Whole of the County Commission of Macon County shall assemble itself at 6pm Monday at the Courthouse if Lafayette.

 

The Macon County Public Library located at 311 Church Street in Lafayette will be closed on Wednesday’s until further notice in order to replace shelving.

 

Free Application for Federal Student Aid Workshop will be held at Macon County High Scholl Wednesday 9:3am until 4pm in room 305. Call 615-666-4474 to make an appointment. If no school is not in session this event will be cancelled.

 

The Science Club of Macon County Junior High School presents Bob Tarter and the Natural History Educational Company of the Mid South program Physics of Flight Wednesday at 5pm. Admission will be free but the MCJHS Science Club will accept donations.

 

Friendship Missionary Baptist Church will be having Bible study each Wednesday night at 6pm with class being taught by Ricky White.

 

Activities at the Macon County Senior Citizens Center Thursday will be SilverSneakers MSROM 10am, finger foods at 11:30am followed by Gentiva BINGO and a trip to Metropolis at a cost of $15.00.

 

Senior night for Macon County High School basketball players and cheerleaders will take place Thursday. The ceremony will take place between the girls and boys games at approximately 7:15pm.

 

The movie God’s Not Dead will be shown Friday 12pm at the Macon County Senior Citizens Center.
