The free movie in Key Park for Thursday will be Jumanji. The movie starts at 8pm and is sponsored by the Macon County Arts Council.
Benefit singing and bake sale for April Caldwell, to help with medical expenses, will take place Friday and Saturday at 141 Long Hollow Pike in Gallatin starting at 7am each day.

Buddy Poppy Day will be Saturday. The money raised selling the red poppies stays in Macon County in a separate account called Relief Fund used only for Veterans and their Families. When you are handed a Buddy Poppy give generously and when you wear a Poppy do it proudly.

The Lafayette City Hall will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. All garbage routes will run one day later than the regularly scheduled day next week.
The public is cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service at Macon County Memorial Gardens Monday, 10:00 A.M. to honor those who have served our country and our loved ones that have been laid to rest. Refreshments will follow the service.
